Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — Menteri Kesehatan Budi Gunadi Sadikin mengaku sistem kesehatan di Indonesia masih perlu diperkuat.
Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, Budi mengatakan sudah berkoordinasi dengan Kementerian Dalam Negeri untuk mewajibkan 514 Kabupaten/Kota di 34 provinsi mengalokasikan 10 persen APBD-nya untuk kesehatan.
”Mulai tahun depan [2023], 10 persen dari APBD akan dianggarkan untuk kesehatan. Ini berdasarkan undang-undang,” jelas Budi dikutip dari laman resmi Kementerian Kesehatan, Jumat (23/7/2022).
Anggaran tersebut, ungkap Budi, akan digunakan untuk biaya kesehatan, laboratorium, optimalisasi fasilitas pelayanan, peningkatan alat dan kompetensi serta jumlah tenaga kesehatan termasuk insentif. Budi menegaskan semua itu untuk mewujudkan pelayanan kesehatan yang lebih baik.
Dia juga menjelaskan daerah yang APBD-nya rendah akan dapat subsidi.
”Untuk daerah yang APBD kurang dari 500 miliar mungkin bisa kita bantu subsidi, kalau di atas 1 triliun nanti kita review dulu,” ungkap Budi.
Selain itu, Budi mengakui bahwa jumlah tenaga kesehatan di Indonesia masih di bawah standar. Menurut WHO, idealnya satu dokter untuk melayani 1000 penduduk di satu wilayah. Sedangkan di Indonesia, 101.476 dokter melayani populasi sebesar 273.984.400 jiwa.
”Dengan tingkat kelulusan dokter sebanyak 12 ribu orang per tahun, setidaknya butuh waktu sekitar 10 tahun untuk memenuhi rasio dokter di Indonesia,” ungkapnya.
Oleh karena itu, Kementerian Kesehatan jumlah sudah bekerja sama dengan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan untuk menambah jumlah fakultas kedokteran di universitas untuk meningkatkan produksi tenaga kesehatan.
