“Alhamdulillah setelah 2 tahun vakum, penyelenggaraan kali ini bisa berjalan lancar dan sukses,” ujar Wakil Wali Kota Tangerang Sachrudin.
Penyelenggaraan festival yang berlangsung sejak 23 September 2022 ini menghadirkan ragam rangkaian acara.
Di antaranya jalan sehat sarungan, pameran artefak Rasulullah SAW, lomba islami, pameran kaligrafi, bazar kuliner dan UMKM.
Masyarakat sangat antusias mengunjung festival tersebut. Bahkan hingga hari terakhir, diperkirakan jumlah pengunjung Festival Al Azhom berjumlah 50 ribu orang.
“Ini jadi salah satu magnet baru bagi masyarakat. Semoga tahun selanjutnya kita bisa memberikan yang lebih baik lagi, khususnya menjadi wahana syiar islam yang menarik, mendidik dan bermanfaat,” pungkas Sachrudin.
